Biography
Zheng Gen explores self-awareness and stereotypes through situating himself under the spotlight and depicts himself on canvas.
On this flat timeless plane, Zheng submits expressions of melancholy inhabiting within the gloomy space, revealing the ugly truth in socio-political issues, and lonesomeness from the vulnerability of mankind which most humans would conceal.
Zheng Gen reinforces the notion of beauty and sublime, connecting audiences to reality as well as enhancing the human visual consciousness.
2007 Graduated with a Master Degree in Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts.
Currently, working as adjunct professor at Konkuk University, Seoul, Korea.
